The knowledge generation capacity of universities is very well developed often much more than the knowledge sharing and dissemination capacity. One of the reasons for this is the fact that university staff performance is to large degree is accessed on their ability to publish new scientific knowledge in relevant international journals. The incentive for spending time and resources on a broader knowledge dissemination is low, despite the high relevance and potential impact on such activities. Acknowledging this gap has let to a request for activities that strengthen knowledge dissemination within the Platform – at present one activity within this field has been planned:
